There are lots of single parents today who are faced with the challenges of raising their children alone. They are faced with the challenge of bills to pay, loneliness, weakness, working hard, cooking, etc. Most people don’t know the challenges you single parents face, but I would like to tell you that God sees your sacrifices.
An interesting verse in 2 Timothy 1:5, “when I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, I am persuaded that it is in thee also.” It is amazing that the fathers were not mentioned in this scripture.
It is likely that these women were single parents and Paul was referring to the spiritual investment that they had made into Timothy.
You might be a single parent today; I would like to tell you God loves you and sees all your labor concerning your children.
His hand will continually rest on you and empower you to be able to have enough to train these kids to great height and maturity, in Jesus name. Amen
